I promised that I would post the results of my echocardiogram when I heard back from the doctor. Well, I heard back from my doctor at 5:30 this evening.

I am a creature of habit. I like to be able to do things without having a browser open. I don’t know why, I just don’t like writing in a browser (I’m currently using Windows Live Writer to write this post). Yeah, I know - I’m odd.
At any rate, I was searching the ‘Net looking for a software client that I could use to tweet. Well, I found two - Twitteroo and Witty. Twitteroo is a light software that really doesn’t allow you to do much other than receive updates and post your tweets.
Now Witty on the other hand - wow I’m impressed! It has the ability to not only allow you to tweet and receive tweets, but you can change the skin (between Cool Blue and Aero). It also comes with a search function.
You can also adjust the time between updates - anywhere from 0 minutes to 30 minutes. It comes with check boxes under ‘Options’ that allows you to enable/disable sounds and minimize to the system tray.
There is also a toolbar at the top which allows you to switch between your posts (User), you and your friends’ posts (Recent), direct messages (Messages), and replies. It’s a little slow on switching, so you have to be a little patient (it is a beta, after all.)
This software has great potential, and I can’t wait to see what comes out in the updates. Oh yeah, did I mention it’s put out hosted by Google code? Go check it out - I promise you’ll like it!
Well it’s over. I had the echocardiogram (ECG) today at 12:30. I have never had an ultrasound until today. It was very interesting to see my heart beat. It just makes me appreciate God’s ability to create a human being even more.
I won’t know the results until tomorrow - hopefully. The cardiologist was supposed to look over the ECG today and get with my doctor. Then my doctor will call me. I’m hoping everything is the way it should be; prayer has really become a staple more than it has been. I am fortunate in that I have many people who love me and who are praying for me. You couldn’t ask for better friends and family. I will never take that for granted again.
Just keep me in your prayers, and I’ll let post the results as soon as I know them.
Well, today has been an interesting day. I was at work working on a ship when, all of a sudden, I started feeling really dizzy and there was a somewhat dull pain in my forehead. My heart was racing, and I think I almost started to panic.
Well, I got off the ship as quickly as I possibly could, then got a guy walking by to call the ambulance. They came and immediately checked my heart rate and blood pressure…128 and 158/95 respectively. They have never been that high before!
To get home relatively early on Sunday night, my Dad and I (he was my co-pilot during the trip) had to leave at lunchtime from the seminar. I hated missing the rest of the presentations - especially Chris Smith and the “SEO for Bloggers”. That is one that I was looking forward to. Maybe I can find it on UStream later on.
We decided that Tex-Mex would be the way to go to finish out our trip to Dallas. So, we found On the Border on Northwest Highway in Mesquite and decided to eat there.
Hello all! I just wanted to write a quick post on the happenings today. My dad has accompanied me to Dallas for WordCamp Dallas 2008 (we drove nine hours for it!), and we just got back from the Texas Tornado vs Topeka RoadRunners hockey game…The Tornado lost 5-3. But, it was still an exciting game! Here’s a few pictures just to tease you:
Our first seminar is in the morning, so I better go to bed and get a good night’s sleep. Until tomorrow night!

I got a little worried last night when Mississippi State was playing Oregon. I thought for sure we were going to get knocked out in the first round. Oregon even lead most of the game, leading at halftime 38-28. However, I was proven wrong (gladly)!
The ‘Dawgs pulled out a spectacular victory, and will now go on to face No. 1 Seed Memphis on Sunday. Man, I can’t wait. It’s going to be an outstanding game, although I feel Memphis will ultimately win. But I think the ‘Dawgs will put up a good fight. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if they pulled an upset and knocked Memphis out?
I think it would. Here’s a little snapshot of the stats from last night’s game:
Go Dawgs! I’m rooting for ya all the way!
Now, this is interesting. I thought Richardson was in Hillary’s camp. This will no doubt help Obama with the Hispanic vote. Obama’s speech is going on right now. Scroll down for updates.
12:09 pm - Barack says he "can’t be more honored" for Richardson’s endorsement.
12:14 pm - Barack is giving his typical stump speech. "I believe in Dr. King’s ‘Fierce Urgency of Now’", Obama says. "We cannot afford to wait." He bashes the Iraq War and Bush’s "No Child Left Behind" program…Now, my wife is becoming a teacher and she hates the "No Child Left Behind" program.
12:20 pm - Now Fox News is breaking from the speech. It was his typical "stump" speech anyway.

Definitely the country. I’ve lived in both places, and I love the quietness of the country and the wide-openness of it.
